Just two months after the release of their Dark Days & Nights album, Insect Guide return with a brand new EP, the 5 O’Clock Recordings. Written and recorded mostly in dusk-to-dawn post-gig sessions, the new tracks showcase Insect Guide’s darkly atmospheric songwiting in a skeletal, mostly acoustic form, stripping back the densely layered sonics of previous releases. The 5 O’Clock Recordings is a 4 track ghost story of isolation in true Dickensian English fashion. Haunted and hauntingly beautiful, 5 O’Clock Recordings is released digitally at 5am on Monday December 20th FREE on Eardrumspop Records. A limited edition CD with special tin packaging will also be released on Dead Penny Records.
